What We Clear

Land Clearing Services

Brush & Undergrowth Clearing

Dense brush, briars, saplings, and undergrowth removed using land-clearing equipment and skid steers. We can clear large acreages quickly and leave the area ready for farming, building, or landscaping.

Tree Removal & Mulching

Trees of all sizes felled, processed, and either mulched in place or removed from the site. The mulching process turns trees and brush into a natural ground cover that enriches the soil.

Stump Grinding & Removal

Stumps ground below grade or completely excavated and properly removed. We can efficiently handle single stumps or entire fields of stumps from previous clearing operations.

Fence Line Clearing

Old fence lines cleared of brush, trees, and debris. We can remove old fence posts and wire as part of the clearing operation, leaving a clean boundary ready for new fencing.

Lot Clearing for Construction

Residential and commercial lots cleared of all vegetation, stumps, and debris in preparation for new construction. We work with builders and developers throughout the region.

Agricultural Land Reclamation

Overgrown fields, abandoned farmland, and brushy fence lines reclaimed for agricultural use. We can take land that hasn't been farmed in years and return it to productive condition.

Featured Method

Land Clearing — Fast, Clean, and Good for the Soil

Our specialized equipment can clear an acre of dense brush and small trees in a single day — grinding everything into a fine mulch that's left in place as a natural ground cover. No hauling, no burning, no debris piles. The mulch suppresses weeds, prevents erosion, and enriches the soil as it decomposes.

Common Questions

Land Clearing FAQ

What do you do with the trees and brush you remove?

Depending on the project, material may be processed on-site or removed from the property. With cut-and-haul clearing, trees and brush are chipped or hauled to appropriate disposal facilities. Usable timber may be available for salvage depending on species and condition — we discuss options during the estimate.

How much land can you clear in a day?

It depends heavily on the density and size of the vegetation. Light brush with small trees — we can clear several acres per day. Dense woods with large trees — progress is slower. We provide a realistic time estimate during the on-site consultation.

Do you handle permits for tree removal?

In most rural areas of Mercer County, permits are not required for land clearing on private property. However, some townships and municipalities have regulations, and clearing near waterways may require permits from the Ohio EPA or Army Corps of Engineers. We're familiar with local requirements and will advise you during the estimate.

Can you clear land and then immediately prepare it for construction?

Yes. We can clear the land and then transition directly into site development work — grading, drainage, building pad preparation, and access road construction. Keeping it as one project with one contractor saves time and coordination.
