Break It Up. Haul It Away. Done.

Concrete Removal That Leaves Your Site Ready for What's Next

Old concrete doesn't have to be a problem. Whether you're replacing a cracked driveway, clearing a slab for new construction, or removing an old foundation, Post Excavating & Landscaping LLC has the equipment and experience to handle the job efficiently.

We use hydraulic breakers, excavators, and skid steers to break up concrete quickly and load it directly into our dump trucks. No leaving debris piles on your property — we haul it away the same day.

And because we're a full-service company, we can handle whatever comes next — new pavers, a poured driveway, grading and seeding, or any other site work your project requires.

Common Questions

Concrete Removal FAQ

Can you remove concrete without damaging the surrounding area?

Yes. We use hydraulic breakers and excavators sized appropriately for the job. For work near existing structures, landscaping, or utilities, we use smaller equipment and take extra care to protect the surrounding area.

How do you dispose of the concrete?

Concrete is a recyclable material. We haul it to a recycling facility where it's crushed and repurposed as aggregate base material. This is both environmentally responsible and typically more cost-effective than landfill disposal.

Do I need to mark utilities before concrete removal?

Yes — always. Before any concrete removal project, we require that all underground utilities be located and marked. Ohio law requires calling 811 (Ohio Utilities Protection Service) before digging. We can assist with this process.

Can you remove concrete and install new hardscape in the same project?

Absolutely! Because we're also a full-service landscaping company, we can remove old concrete and install new pavers, a poured concrete driveway, or any other hardscape surface as a single project. This saves time and coordination.

How long does concrete removal take?

A typical residential driveway or patio can be removed and hauled in one day. Larger projects — foundations, commercial slabs — may take two to three days. We provide a time estimate along with the cost estimate.
